Welcome to the Underworld.
Kira’s first night in the Underworld has her running for her life from a pack of hellhounds. She survives only thanks to two mysterious warriors: charming, golden-haired Zane and his dark and quiet counterpart, Talon.
The following morning, she wakes to a realm of lavender skies and golden sunlight. Vast, wild spaces surround a sprawling castle filled with black-clad figures bristling with weapons. It’s a world of magick, ancient secrets, and souls.
Not only is Kira in the Underworld—she is a Reaper. A Grim Reaper.
As one of the Underworld’s newest soul collectors, Kira is expected to protect the souls from dangerous creatures roaming beyond the castle walls. But as her training begins, the Reapers’ carefully kept secrets start to unravel.
A darkness is rising, threatening the balance of the Underworld. And the deeper Kira is drawn into her strange new home—and the unexpected family she finds there—the more she realizes far more is at stake than she ever imagined.
Kira may be the one who can stop what’s coming…
Or the one destined to destroy it.
