About Raeanne

Raeanne DuPont fell in love with fantasy and science fiction at a young age and dreamed of becoming a writer when she grew up—though it took a few detours to finally get there.

For a decade, Raeanne worked as an elementary school librarian, sharing her love of books, imagination, and storytelling with young readers. She eventually left the library to chase her childhood dream and write full time.

Raeanne studied Television, Film, and New Media at San Diego State University. After graduation, she created and produced Kings of the Craft, a six-part documentary series exploring San Diego’s craft beer industry. The series received a Pacific Southwest Emmy for Cinematography.

These days, she spends most of her time with a book in hand, whether it’s one she’s reading or one she’s writing. She lives in San Diego County with her husband, whom she met at SDSU, and their perfect pup, Olive.

Raeanne hopes her stories give readers what her favorite books have always given her: a chance to get lost in another world for a little while—and a reason to keep turning the page.
